Tags of Hope Thrift Shoppe
About Us
Tags of Hope Thrift Shoppe began on The Methodist Home’s Macon campus; however, the small shop outgrew its humble beginnings. Through a grant from William I.H. & Lula E. Pitts Foundation and a partnership with business classes at Wesleyan College, Tags of Hope Thrift Shoppe moved to Vineville Avenue in April 2015. The shop is run primarily by volunteers. Name brand clothing items, home décor, books, and furniture may be found in the store.
Why support Tags of Hope Thrift Shoppe?
The revenue earned from the sales of donated items goes directly to support the children and youth in our care. This means any donation or purchase you make is directly and positively impacting a child in need. With your help, we will restore childhoods and strengthen families in our community.
We are thankful for our volunteers
Tags of Hope Thrift Shoppe is always looking for passionate people and/or small groups who love charity work and desire to give back to the community. We are thankful for the volunteers and supporters who give their time, talents and gifts to keep our store successful.
How you can help
Come volunteer with us as often as you like. We always need volunteers who can help fill a few shifts weekly or monthly. Put your interests, talents and skills to work! From merchandising areas, organizing donations or greeting customers and donors – whatever your gift is, we can find a place to use it!
