Leadership

Alison Evans has served as President/CEO of The Methodist Home since 2013. She previously served with the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches for 28 years, rising from summer lifeguard to Vice President for Donor Relations. Alison holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration from Stetson University.

Jill Myers (MPA) has served at The Methodist Home since 1991. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Master of Public Administration from Georgia College & State University. As Executive Vice President, Jill leads the organization’s performance outcomes and accreditation activities for all programs.

Robin Trantham began working at The Methodist Home in 1998, directly serving our youth in residential care. She took a strong interest in supporting employees through Human Resources and has served as Vice President of Human Resources since 2014. Robin was promoted to Vice President of Operations in February 2024. Her areas of responsibility include Human Resources, Training, Compliance and Information Technology. Robin has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Mercer University and a Master of Business Administration from Wesleyan College.

Dr. Jeff Lawrence has served at The Methodist Home since 1985. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Master of Divinity, Master of Social Work, and Doctor of Ministry. Jeff is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. As Vice President of Programs and Services, he oversees our residential care, clinic, and on-campus school, Price Academy.

Jill Stapleton obtained a bachelor’s degree from Mercer University and a Master of Social Work from Florida State University before joining The Methodist Home in May 1999. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Jill oversees all clinical services within each region. She also oversees HOPE Foster Care and manages all Lighthouse for Families programs.

Bruce Stanfield brought his finance and accounting skills to The Methodist Home in 1998. Bruce’s strengths in accounting, analyzing complex financial data and financial data projections have served The Methodist Home well. He is responsible for all financial management, budgeting and tax reporting for The Methodist Home, as well as assisting with our annual outside audit and IRS reporting forms. He has a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Mercer University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Lonnie Bivins began working with The Methodist Home in March 1994. He is responsible for overseeing our campus/facilities, supervising all construction, maintenance and food services. Lonnie attended Georgia Southwestern College and completed coursework at the Culinary Institute of America in New York.

Diane Gilliam has been involved in the non-profit arena for more than 20 years. She joined The Methodist Home in 2009 and has served as a member of the Development team since then. She currently serves as the Chief Development Officer and is responsible for all fundraising and development activities of The Methodist Home. Diane holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Georgia College.

Rev. Lynn Meadows-White serves as Vice President of Church Relations and Chaplain for our boys at The Carpenter’s Way Ranch in Cautala and our girls in Americus. Her journey as part of The Methodist Home team began in Fall 2022. Prior to that, Lynn served as part of a clergy couple at Pierce Chapel in Midland, GA alongside her husband, Rev. Howard White for 31 years. During this time, her passion for supporting our boys in Columbus grew and she has volunteered locally for many years.

Dr. Josh Gale began serving at The Methodist Home in Summer 2021 as Chaplain for our Macon campus. He obtained his bachelor’s degree from Georgia College & State University and a Masters of Divinity from Emory University. Josh obtained his doctorate from Asbury Theological Seminary in 2022. He was honored with the highest award given by the Red Cross, the American Red Cross Lifesaving Award after saving the life of one of our youth in the summer of 2022. Dr. Gale also serves as pastor of Wesley UMC in Macon.

Caroline Edenfield began serving in the non-profit sector in 2002 and has worked in the field of finance and accounting since 1997. Caroline received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and English from Brenau College and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Mercer University. As head of our Foundation, Caroline primarily handles legacy and planned giving gifts for the benefit of The Methodist Home.
