Dr. Laudis H. “Rick” Lanford, President, The Methodist Home Foundation- Dr. Lanford was Vice President of Development for 13 years before moving full-time to The Methodist Home Foundation in 2007. As a child welfare advocate, he volunteers as a Commissioner for the Georgia Children’s Trust Fund Commission and as a board member for Georgia Association for Homes and Services for Children Foundation. His background includes experience with budgets and fundraising in churches as well as serving on various local and state boards, including serving as past national chair of the section on Public Relations, Development, and Marketing of the United Methodist Association. He has completed training for Fund Raising and Estate Planning and also conducts trainings on fundraising. He currently serves as the Senior Chaplain for Homeland Security under the Office of the Governor Sonny Perdue. As an experienced trainer, Dr. Lanford teaches workshops on fund-raising, motivation and team building.
