 Welcome to our web site!!!
The Methodist Home for Children and Youth is more than a home for children, it is also a home for a host of children and family programs and services. With six sites across South Georgia (Macon, Americus, Valdosta, St. Marys, Waverly Hall and Columbus) we have a range of more than 15 services.
For those who want or need to know more about the Methodist Home, this site is a wealth of information. In 2011, we celebrated 155 years of children being served on this campus. In 1872, the orphanage was turned over to the Methodist church and has served over 10,000 children and young people since then.
You will find we serve more children, more places, more ways, more effectively than ever before. We have a bold vision .... That the children and families we serve will be far better off because we have met one another. In doing this, we intend to change the way Georgia treats its children.
