Mr. Jim Waters, Chaplain- Jim has worked at The Methodist Children’s Home for 3 years, first as a Child Care Counselor, and currently as Chaplain. Jim is responsible for many of the spiritual growth activities on our campus, including weekly chapel services, Bible studies, youth events, discipleship, and prayer for our residents and staff. Jim came to The Methodist Children’s Home after a career in business, where as a certified Character First! trainer, he pioneered the use of Character Development curricula in the workplace. Jim also has experience in children and youth recreation, marriage and family support, leadership development, and facilitating the creation organizational mission & vision statements.
