The children served by The Methodist Home are blessed by the support of various auxiliary organizations! Auxiliaries provide a means of support for programs and services beyond the budget of The Methodist Home (such as special trips, recreational equipment, or new cottage furnishings). Auxiliaries enable The Methodist Home to hold events which would be beyond the ability of the staff (such as Teacher Appreciation evening in Americus, or Family Day in Valdosta). Auxiliaries also hold fundraising events (such as Celebration Day in Macon, or the annual Fish Fry in St. Marys).
The Macon District Auxiliary holds monthly meetings during the school year on the first Tuesday of the month at 11 am. We meet in the Rumford Center Dining Hall. Membership is $5 per year.
